I don’t think I’ve ever had a week like this where each day is a different suit of the same number card. Tuesday was the four of Coins (or in the Brady Tarot pictured here, Roots), Wednesday was the four of Cups (or Horns), and today we see the four of Swords (or Arrows).
Once again, the corresponding card brings a different, complimentary message, in this case “Celebration.”
Clearly, we are being asked to rest, recover, and reflect. Duiring this time, we are to draw creative and joyful inspiration from the insight we gain. We are being asked to slow down and recognize the magic of not only this season but the major transformations we will undergo as planets Jupiter and Saturn first form a significant conjunction and then move from Capricorn into Aquarius, all before the end of 2020.
What does this mean for us practically? What does it mean in terms of social justice? I think we are being asked to humble ourselves in the face of literal miracles. My goal here is to effect social change through inspiring individual action. But sometimes the “action” is to simply be aware of forces moving beyond our control. to recognize what we can change and what we must be ready to react to.
The coming years will require much from humanity as we are asked to evolve to survive. We will be asked to release our attachment to the unknown without a promise of what is to come, leaping instead into the chasm of self-reliance. By being repeatedly asked to look within, to reflect on what we have, and to celebrate what we find, we learn to recognize the tools necessary to thrive in a changing world.
