The Leaves of Grass Oracle

Inspired by the poetry of Walt Whitman

This 50-card oracle deck is inspired by the work of American poet Walt Whitman. Each card contains a page from a public domain text of Whitman's poetry collection, "Leaves of Grass" combined with one word from the text and a corresponding image.

Themes of the deck include transcendental and romantic ideas such as life, dreams, the body, and universal love. The art on the deck is based on the Victorian era, 1980s illustrations by Margaret Cook. The colors are soft and inspired by turn of the century aesthetics.

This deck is similar to others in my collection such as the Gatsby Oracle and the Where Alice Went Wonderland Oracle deck.

The 50 cards are a standard Tarot deck size (2.75 x 4.75 inch) professionally printed on 12pt 320gsm black-core matte card stock with a protective UV coating. They feel smooth and light in your hands and shuffle easily.

The deck comes with a cloth pouch to protect and store your cards (colors will vary).
