The Home Blessings Oracle

A 48-card square oracle deck with hand-collaged artwork offering simple, playful affirmations for home and garden.

Step through the threshold of your most intimate dwellings with the Home Blessings Oracle, a deck that celebrates the fact that home is what you make it, regardless of acreage or ownership. Draw a single card to start your day, or sit with the guidebook and let each one lead you somewhere new.

About the Deck

Each card pairs original analog collage art with a found-text mantra and a guiding keyword, offering gentle prompts for reflection, intention, and everyday inspiration. The keywords cover a range of themes, from Abundance and Belonging to Calm, Community, Presence, and Restoration. They invite you to think of home as the place where you live, and also as your body, your heart, and your mind. The deck is as much an invitation to reflect on your inner dwelling space as it is on your house and garden.

Whether you're in the middle of a big move, a fresh start, or simply a quiet Sunday afternoon at home, this deck meets you wherever you are.

How It Was Made

As a child of the 1980s and 90s, I grew up with magazines as an early creative inspiration. For this deck, I worked with discarded home, garden, and lifestyle magazines and books (think Sunset, Food & Wine, and Real Simple), tearing and layering each piece by hand into 48 individual collages.

The most time-consuming step was layering each card with found text. I'm inspired by artists like William Burroughs and David Bowie, and I like to assemble words and phrases to create new relationships and meanings between them. Then I scanned each collage and added a keyword to match. No AI, just paper, glue, and a lot of patience.
