The Foraged Oracle

A completely unique oracle card deck I created using my favorite technique of analog collage.

I had cut and tore old recycled magazines and books to create the background images, then added found text from books like old nature encyclopedias. The result is a cut-up poetry message that is uniquely suited for a wide variety of uses.

Because the images and text are all scavenged and found in recycled materials, and because I use nature images on each card, I named this deck The Foraged Oracle. The colorful cards have images from nature, primarily birds, reptiles, and seashells as well as various colorful textures and found images.

By playing with different images and found words, the meaning of each card is open to interpretation depending on the context in which is is used.

There are 50 completely different and unusual designs in the deck. It can be used to compliment your tarot readings, as a stand-alone oracle reading deck, or as creative inspiration for poets, writers, teachers, artists, and pretty much any other creative person looking for a spark or jumping-off point to inspire their own work.

Check out The Foraged Oracle and see what creative treasures you discover in the wilds of imagination!

The 50 cards are a standard Tarot deck size (2.75 x 4.75 inch) professionally printed on 12pt 320gsm black-core matte card stock with a protective UV coating. They feel smooth and light in your hands and shuffle easily.

The deck comes with includes a cloth bag for protecting and storing your deck (colors may vary).
