This is a very special card deck that I am so excited to introduce to the world!

The Weird Science Deck of Curious Cards contains 48 completely unique cards with had-cut collage images and snippets of found poetry or text.

This esoteric deck is meant to inspire mystery, intrigue, imagination and whimsy. As a poet myself, I am always looking for juxtapositions that inspire creativity and allow us to see things differently. I had writers in mind when I created this deck, thinking that it may inspire everything from chapbooks to character development.

Use for creative writing prompts, daily affirmations, or as oracle cards. There is multiple use magic in this whimsical deck!

The cards each measure 2.5 x 2.5 inches and have a contrasting border color and green nature-based pattern on the background. I hand cut and pasted the collage and text, then scanned the images into digital files and had them professionally printed on high-quality card stock with a protective UV coating. The cards come in a cloth drawstring pouch (colors will vary).

The uses for this deck are nearly endless. Here are some ideas for how it might be used:

-choose 1-3 cards and use them to inspire lines of a poem

-draw a card a day and use it as a weird and wonderful affirmation

-use the cards to create a fantastic story or fairy tale

-draw a card or two as inspiration for drawing or doodling

-use the cards to compliment your existing Tarot or Oracle practice, allowing spirit to speak through the lines of found poetry

-hand them out to a creative writing group and use them for character or scene development
