Spirit Garden Tarot
The Spirit Garden Tarot is a whimsical, nature-based indie Tarot deck with plant and animal associations.
The Spirit Garden Tarot carries mystic messages from nature. Based on the forest and garden ecosystem of my home in Northern California, I selected symbolic correspondences for each suit that represent the transformative, cyclical nature of the environment. Cups are represented by roses, symbolizing love and emotion. Wands are linked to snakes, symbolizing the fire of action and creation. Pentacles become mushrooms, sprouting from the soil with foundational earth energy. And Swords are associated with monarch butterflies, relating them to thoughts and ideas.
The Major Arcana combines elements of all these cards, and includes imagery such as flowers, snails, plants, and other natural elements to represent the energy of an abundant garden of signs and symbols.
Card correspondences and a brief description are included for every card in the accompanying booklet.
Each card in the major Arcana includes a prompt that can be used to craft a tarot card spread or as inspiration for extended interpretation and journaling.
Each suit in the minor Arcana includes a suggested card spread that corresponds to the energy of water, fire, air, or earth.
The 78 cards are a standard Tarot deck size (2.75 x 4.75 inch) professionally printed on high quality card stock with a protective UV coating. They feel smooth and light in your hands and shuffle easily. They are contained in a custom designed tuck box.
