The energy this week takes a sharp upturn compared to the past few weeks. The full moon in Leo on Sunday ushers in fresh energy that helps us shine our inner light of authenticity.

We are filled with optimism. There is an influx of new ideas. This may be in part to the movement of Mercury, which finishes its full retrograde cycle on February 7th. Although the planet has been in “forward motion” since January 18th, it will finally clear 29° Capricorn on Tuesday, which is where it began its retrograde journey. As Mercury ingresses into Aquarius, new ideas may flow, delay may be resolved, travel may proceed with ease, contracts and negotiations are back on the table, and technology may stop bugging out as frequently. We may find ourselves with a new understanding or relationship to social media or to our personal networks.

Our cards represent this beneficial boot of enthusiasm. We are encouraged to implement or launch projects or ideas that may have been on hold. The eight of wands lights the spark on a number of new ventures, fueled more by enthusiasm than planning or certainty. It is somewhat of a gamble — will these ventures be successful? Only time will tell, but we ca be assured that luck is on our side.
